Partner application terms

1. 01. These terms cover the application only

   They apply to the submission of an application to the UEG commercial solar referral partner programme. They are not the UEG partner agreement, and they do not create a partnership, agency, joint venture or employment relationship of any kind.

2. 02. Your information must be accurate

   You confirm that the information you provide in the application is accurate and complete as far as you are aware, and that you are authorised to submit it on behalf of the business you name.

3. 03. Submission does not guarantee acceptance

   UEG reviews every application. Submitting one does not make you an approved partner and does not oblige UEG to accept you, to accept any introduction, or to give a reason for a decision.

4. 04. We may contact you about your application

   UEG may contact you by email or telephone to discuss your application, clarify the information provided or arrange a call. This contact relates to your application and is separate from any marketing consent you may give.

5. 05. No commission entitlement arises at this stage

   No entitlement to commission of any kind exists until you have been formally approved as a partner and the UEG partner agreement is in place. Commission terms, including qualifying conditions and payment timing, are set out in that agreement.

6. 06. Introductions must be genuine and permission-based

   If you are approved, any introduction you make must relate to a real organisation, be based on a genuine relationship or credible route to the right person, and be made with that person's knowledge and agreement. Purchased, scraped or otherwise unpermissioned contact data must not be submitted as a referral.

7. 07. You must not make claims on UEG's behalf

   Before and after approval, you must not promise savings, payback periods, system performance, funding or grant outcomes, pricing or timescales on UEG's behalf.

8. 08. How we handle your personal information

   The personal information in your application is used to assess it, to contact you about it and, if you are approved, to administer your participation in the programme. It is handled in accordance with the UEG privacy policy and applicable UK data-protection law. You may ask us to delete your application at any time.

9. 09. Applications may be declined or withdrawn

   UEG may decline an application, or withdraw an application from consideration, at its discretion — including where the information provided cannot be verified or where the applicant is unsuitable for the programme.

10. 10. Formal commercial terms are agreed separately

    All commercial terms — commission rate and calculation, qualifying conditions, referral protection, payment terms, confidentiality and data protection obligations — are agreed separately in the UEG partner agreement, which takes precedence over the content of the partners page and these application terms.

11. 11. Changes to these terms

    UEG may update these application terms. The version identifier recorded with your application is the version you accepted at the time of submission.
