Why solar, why now
For many businesses, on-site solar is the simplest and most financially attractive first step towards lower-cost, lower-carbon energy. It can deliver immediate savings while creating the foundation for battery storage, electrified heat, EV charging and intelligent energy management.
But solar is not automatically the answer for every site. We begin by understanding how each client uses energy and only recommend solar where it makes commercial and technical sense. We then build outward, bringing together the technologies that will produce the best overall result.
Because we are independent of manufacturers and installers, our specification follows the evidence. That is the difference between an array that fills a roof and one that repays the investment.
Our solar capability
Whichever form your project takes, the analysis, the design discipline and the accountability afterwards stay the same.

Long-term value
An array is a 25-year asset. Its value depends on what happens after commissioning.

For businesses with ageing asbestos cement roofs, the need to replace or over-roof the building fabric is an opportunity. By combining the roof upgrade with a solar installation, the work is coordinated once, disruption is reduced, and the new roof starts generating lower-cost, lower-carbon power from day one.
Many industrial estates built in the 1960s–1980s still have asbestos cement roofing. It is often reaching end of life, becoming brittle and expensive to maintain. A like-for-like replacement fixes the building but leaves the energy bill untouched.
Over-roofing — installing a new weatherproof skin over the existing sheets — provides a structurally sound, thermally improved roof plane that is ideal for solar. We assess the existing structure, design the over-roof and solar array as one system, and manage delivery through a single interface.
The result is a roof that performs as building fabric and as a generation asset, with one programme, one set of access arrangements and a business case that captures both the energy saving and the avoided future roof cost.

Solar as a foundation
Solar rarely stands alone. We plan it alongside the technologies that turn a good project into a great long-term outcome.
A solar feasibility review gives you modelled yield, self-consumption, funding options and a payback you can take to your board — before you commit to anything.
